- Multiple-choice (45 questions) – melodic dictation, harmonic analysis, part-writing fundamentals — 45 % of composite.
- Free-response (7 tasks) – melodic & harmonic dictation, part-writing, sight-singing — 55 % of composite.
- Composite scaled to 200 points (MCQ 90, FRQ 110). We average the last three released curves to map composite → 5-point scale.
